When do you think the new 5 series will arrive
in the US?
Thank you for your question. Right now of course, everything is still vague and pure speculation on the new 2011 BMW series. I assume that we will see it in Europe in Fall 2010 and approx. 3-4 months later in the US. So I can imagine the spring of 2011. The new 5 Series GT could be coming around the same time. As soon I can retrieve more info from my German contacts, I’ll post it right away. I hope you are enjoying my little blog and the news and pictures I provide. If so, please spread the word. These pictures leave me drooling. Any new word on a release date? Hoping for late 2009 (ha!) — but would dealers already have known by now if this was the case?
The brand new shape which you can see at the renderings and spy photos is expected to be released late 2009 and the possible market entry for the U.S. could be around the Detroit Auto Show early 2010. Please check my posted YouTube video out, which shows the 2010 (last edition) of the 5 Series.
